SEDATION
DEADLINE APPROACHES!!
July 3, 2009
is the deadline for completing the permit process for any
level of
sedation. When the new rules were passed on July 3,
2008, the Board allowed
licensees a one-year grace period to complete the
application and inspection
process. After July 3, 2009, all dentists who have
not obtained a permanent
or temporary sedation permit must cease using sedation
until they have been
issued a permit.
New sedation rules
went into effect July 3, 2008.
